Follow these care instructions to maintain the luxurious handfeel and beauty of your rug:• Vacuum weekly or as needed. Always use the standard floorhead and set the vacuum to a low setting to minimize shedding. Avoid rotating brushes. Use a low power setting when vacuuming edges.• Rotate your rug every three months to reduce wear and tear and avoid fading. This simple step helps maintain even color distribution, especially in sunlit areas.• Some shedding may occur with all tufted and hand-sheared rugs. If shedding persists, professional cleaning is recommended to help remove loose fibers.• If a stray or loose yarn pops up over time, do not pull it. Simply trim the longer yarn with scissors until it’s even with the rug pile.• Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry white cloth or towel to soak up spills; do not rub. For spot cleaning, use a dye-free gentle detergent solution mixed with cold water. Rinse and blot quickly to dry with a clean towel.• Place furniture pads under heavy pieces to prevent flattening and preserve the rug’s pile.• The use of a rug pad is highly recommended to help prevent slipping and stretching and to add comfort underfoot.• For best results, we recommend an annual professional cleaning.
