The Caspian Outdoor Sofa by Essentials For Living is crafted with a transitional silhouette and coastal inspired textures. The sofa features a handwoven taupe rope with oval design over a solid teak wood frame. The exposed teak base is finished in a weather resistant, multi-step washed ever treatment. The plinth base adds visual grounding and structural support, while removable and reversible cushions upholstered in performance Ecru Weave fabric provide comfort and durability for outdoor lounging. Built to resist fading and wear, the materials are designed for outdoor use, though cushions should be stored during heavy rain or extreme weather to maintain their longevity.
Woven Collection’s Washed Ever Teak is a multi-step hand applied finish. A wire brush is first used to distress the wood by hand before applying a polyurethane finish that is designed to resist naturally occurring wood finish changes from the outdoor elements. Due to the hand applied nature of the finish, uneven application or uneven wire brushing is possible. Washed Ever Teak finish may fade and wear over time, and as the finish deteriorates, the natural teak underneath will become visible and gradually turn grey. The rate of this weathering will vary based on factors such as climate, exposure, and maintenance levels.
