Description
Created by Swedish designer Staffan Holm for the Japanese brand Ariake, this cabinet is inspired by the traditional Japanese kumiko technique, which involves assembling wooden pieces without nails to create intricate geometric patterns. These cabinets feature semi-transparent kumiko screens, which can be both ornamental and functional as privacy screens. The delicate lattice work allows light to pass through, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, almost like a lamp when lit from within. This Kumiko Cabinet variation is available in two heights and elevated on a sleek wooden frame.
